Amanda is currently on a documentary fellowship from Duke University’s Center for Documentary Studies. She is recording the lives of teenaged mothers and pregnant girls living in Chelsea, MA using photography, paintings, and audio interviews.
The site runs on the open-source WordPress blogging platform, allowing her to easily update it from any computer. As the record of a multi-media project, it was important that Amanda be easily able to upload images and audio recordings for inclusion in blog posts. Additionally, there is a portfolio component, with a number of albums displaying her photos and paintings.
I worked on the CMS setup, template design, XHTML/CSS.
