Top of Spencer’s Butte

Emily and I climbed to the top of Spencer’s Butte, on the outskirts of Eugene. On our way back down, we twice passed the same man in his mid-fifties, jogging up the steep, rocky trail. He had apparently run up, down the other side, and was on his way back to the top again. Made us feel like a couple of wimps.
